June 27, 2005 Chart-Ferox announces Gasnor LNG satellite plant expansion at Elkem. Decin, Czech Republic – June 27, 2005 – Chart Industries, Inc. (OTC: CIDI.OB) announces today that Gasnor AS, Norway’s leading supplier of LNG, has placed an order for cryogenic tanks and other process equipment for a planned expansion of the existing LNG plant at ELKEM’s aluminum facility at Farsund, Norway. The current satellite plant, delivered by Ferox in November 2004, includes a horizontal 250 000 liter vacuum insulated tank and ambient air vaporizers with nominal capacity of 1 000 Nm³ per hour. The natural gas is used in large aluminum furnaces. The LNG satellite plant will now be expanded with two horizontal storage tanks, each with gross capacity 500 000 liters. When completed, the new plant will be able to receive LNG from Gasnor’s own 1 000 m³ coastal carrier. The new 1 250 m³ facility, the second largest satellite plant in Norway, is expected to be fully operational during 1st quarter, 2006.
